White Teas

Darjeeling White Tea

Darjeeling white tea is the purest and least processed of all other tea types. It has the least amount of caffeine and the highest amount of antioxidants.Only the top two leaves and bud are used in this large leaf tea.This tea has a subtlearoma.


Peony White Tea

White peony is Minimally processed and is still rich in antioxidants.This delightfully subtle white tea is quite refreshing with fresh, floral notes, lingering natural sweetness.It has a clean, succulent floral/fruit flavor and rounded mouth feel.

 

Silver Needle Tea

Green Teas

Bancha (low in caffeine so kids can also drink)

Bancha is very commonly used tea in most Japanese households and is traditionally considered as a refreshing everyday green tea. It is harvested from late summer through late autumn. Bancha is gently roasted so that it develops a pleasing sweet, nutty flavor and an amusing golden infusion.

 

Fukamushi

Fukamushi refers to the deeper and longer steaming that this tea undergoes during the process. The deeper steaming results in an ugly looking tea, with many small particles and fewer whole leaves. It has a mellow taste and refreshing aroma.

 

Genmaicha

Genmai Cha is a traditional Japanese green tea, blended with toasted, popped rice. Originally created to stretch short supplies of tea, now enjoyed by tea lovers around the world. It has a warm and nutty taste, with a lovely savory quality.vegetal green flavor balanced with a nutty flavor.


Gyokuro

Gyokuro is a shade grown steamed green tea. It is one of the finest Japanese teas. While the young leaves of the spring season develop, the Gyokuro plants are shaded from sun for numerous weeks. This slows down the growth allowing the tea leaves more time to develop a deep flavor. The sun deprived leaves are higher in chlorophyll, which explains their vivid green color.

 

Nilgiri Green Tea

Bright and attractive green tea from the Nilgiri Mountains south India. It is a light grassy taste with some sweetness.

 

Hoji Cha

Hoji Cha is a Japanese green tea that is prominent from others because it is roasted in a porcelain pot over charcoal whereas most Japanese teas are normally steamed. It has a warm roasted aroma and flavor.

 

Kuki Cha

Kukicha is a unique lookingtea, which contains stems and stalks from the production of Sencha. It has a light, transparent green color with a mildly sweet, uplifting taste.

 

Long Jin

Long jin is one of China's famous green teas.Itoriginates from Hangzhou in Zhejiang province. This tea has a very distinctive shape which is smooth and perfectly flattened along the inside vein of the leaf which is obtained as the result of highly skilled shaping in a hot wok.

 

Matcha

Matcha is the important part of the Japanese Tea Ceremony. It is a fine powder made by grinding green tea leaves. Only the finest, young, shade-grown gyokuro tealeaves are used to create matcha.It has smooth and mellow taste and it is not at all bitter.

 

Sencha

Sencha is the emperor of green teas, which is hand,picked and deep steamed, and carefully dried right after harvesting in traditional Japanese style.Sencha is delicately sweet and has aherbaceous aroma.

 

Oolong Teas

Chinese Oolong

Oolong tea is a delicious tea variety. It is also known as wulong (or wu long) tea. Similar to green teas, oolong teas also originate from the same plant and undergo similar processing steps. However, after the tealeaves are picked, shaking intentionally bruises them. While the leaves are drying, the edge of the bruised leaves turn reddish in color and the surface becomes light yellow due to fermentation and oxidation.


Nilgiri Oolong

Fruity oolong with a strong apricot taste accompanied by a moderately brisk finish. The leaves of this tea undergo a mild oxidation process, resulting in this ‘half-way-home’ green tea. It has a Crisp taste with moderately brisk finish and a strong fruity taste.

 

Black Teas

Earl grey

Earl Grey tea is a tea blend with a unique citrus flavor and aroma derived from the addition of oil extracted from the rind of the bergamot orange, a fragrant citrus fruit.

 

English breakfast Tea

English breakfast is a full-bodied black tea that goes well with a traditional English breakfast. It is a full-bodied infusion with malty and oaky undertones.

 

Floral Earl Grey
